Following the CAN constitution Article 10:7 page 8; “Notwithstanding the provisions of section 3(6) of the Article 8, the National Executive Council of the Christian Association of Nigeria may exercise its discretion to collaborate with other duly registered Christian Organizations as it may deem fit from time to time”; and in Article 15:11 in appointing “Such other National Officers as may be determined by the National Executive Council from time to time”; the National CAN Stakeholders was established in South Africa to represent, arbitrate, negotiate, sponsor, support, and act on behalf of the Christian Association of Nigeria South Africa to foster peace, unity and advance good corporate image for the Nigerian Christian Community in South Africa and a good coexistence amongst Nigerian people in South Africa, and to generally use their position, experience and expertise to plan, promote and ensure the success of the Christian Association of Nigeria South Africa. National CAN Stakeholders comprise of Elder Christians and Christian Leaders drawn from different Christian religious groups in South Africa who are not elected Executives of CAN South Africa.
